Welcome man,i like the coloring of you sketch, very atractive,it have atracted my nose.
Seeya arround.
Spectacular 3D Entry: Miguel A Santiago
thx’s A I R, my first challeng! its pretty amazing all the great Ideas flowing around and talent. Watch out might burn your nose off!
great concept migusan76! like the sketch too but i think u should expand the field of view to show more of the happening!
cheers man!
thx’s yunisirees, really love your concept as well. I agree when I get to the end and have all the scene setup I’ll most likely try and shift the FOV more.
I’ve started to model a building trying to see what I can get away with. The closer buildings I will try to make Highly detailed.
hi migusan76
good to see ur started modeling man! yes detail the closer and low at far!
keep them coming man!
cheers!
Hey yunisirees, Iam hopeing that I can detail them alot with textures. LOL I even had though about just making the bricks but that would be insane.
Closer Look into the wire. Trying to keep it simple and build complex textures to achieve the rest of the detail.
Looking good!!!, can’t comment much right now…Looking foward for updates man!!..laters…
BTW, its eddie from FS!!!
Later bro!!!
testing out a skin shader I have so when it comes time to working on the characters skin I plan to get it looking and rendering correctly.
Hey EDDIE, thx’s man good to see you around you disapeared for a long time. Where you been hiding.
I like the sketch a lot
Scientist in me says, though, that if the sun appeared to be that large everything would long have vapourized. If the sun’d be twice as large on the sky (meaning that the distance between the sun and the earth has halved) the temperature would already be liquifying things (I need to look that up, though, but 0.5 times the distance means heat increases by 2^3 = 8; a temperature no human could possibly survive.
With the distance to the sun from this size… poof, goes humanity, into a whisp of really hot matter.
Still, never mind that - it looks great in sketch!
Thx’s The Parrot, LmAo!! You know that is something that I’ve extremely been debating in my own head. Cause what you say is most likely true, those are things I think about all the time while working on the image. But luckily we are artist, and have artistic freedom. I want to keep it in the realm of realisitic but still produce an interesting image. Another to add to your facts if the sun was that close just image how bright it would be, but wouldn’t make a interesting picture to be over blown. So that is one big thing Iam gonna have to work on is trying to find a blend between the good and the bad that your facts describe.
Just building some of the bump texturing into the building. so far at the moment Iam building it with procedural shaders to get the look.
Here is a closer view showing the procedural detail. Iam also testing out a technique that lets the bump map take into account occlusion giving it a better depth.
