I’m using these welcome words for enforcing my (sometimes weak) ego :wink:
This challenge, at least for me, is a really huge challenge … I think, this one forces us to be extremely realistic with story, characters and image quality … and I know: many of you are really great artists out there.

After two days thinking and reading the instructions again and again, I’m coming up with this story (hopefully being able to stay with it):

It is August 20th 2097.
The heads of the worlds five continental governments meet at a secret chatteau in a small European province, called Poland.
Automated camera installations are prepared to transfer the historical alliance of all nations and the planned establishment of a brand new World Government Building on a tiny island placed in the Pacific Ocean to billions of Info Unit watchers all over the world.
At 6:24 p.m. and 32.53 sec. CET the unbelievable happens: an antiquated, modified short distance missile, fired by the United Christian Freedom Force, hits the building …

Well, this is pure fiction - at least it is thought as being fiction - but under extreme circumstances I could imagine this could come true.
And why the Christian Freedom Force?
Well, I’m wanting the story being a little ironic … this means, that Muslims and others have been the bad for quiet enough time, there will not be any extraterrestrial aggressor but it is easy to imagine, that the Vatican takes part on everything that’s going on … more or less. I want the aggressors not being expected in any case. But please don’t take this personal - it’s fiction.

And why Poland?
I want the scenery taking place in a historical ambiance and I could imagine, that Poland isn’t changing its architectural face too much during the next 90 years. Besides that, I could think about Poland as a political neutral country in the future … Poland is somewhat a geographical center when respecting the land masses … and … Italy is too close to the Vatican :wink:

And how will my entry image look like (hopefully)?
Searching for historical relevant imaginary, I finally came up with an idea equally inspired by the famous Last Supper done by Leonardo da Vinci as well as Marvel comics. I hope to finding the balance between an iconic indoor scene and an tremendous amount of action. Five obviously mighty and futuristic characters in iconic poses sitting and/or standing alongside a huge table with the model of the planned ultra futuristic new government building placed on top of it … while the blast of the explosion destroys the pathetic scenery.

First sketches will follow … but they have to be well prepared :wink:

Since the poses of the 5 characters along the table are the most important thing in my concept, I decided to deal with some rigged dummy figures first.
The major perspective, you can see in this image, will be close to what the view in the final coposition will be.
The explosion takes place on the left.
