Here is my first concept skecth. I would like to do picture with a combat of superheroes guys.
I don’t exactly know yet how the action will take place but here is my first idea. It’s quite common, but i will try to have nice superheroes poses with very dynamic feeling of the action.(Like mangas combat action scene). It’s my goal.

Thx Enialadam :). I think i will go to watch Appleseed on theater this week and some others manga movies. It will be the best way to get my final idea.

Ok, it is the same concept but with a shot of a town from Appleseed in the background, to test the feeling of this skecth.
Maybe I will try a sketch with a different angle and a destructed town in background, to feel better this combat of the titans.

Kid Mesh, I was thinking of that. Since I want to do a manga like image, there will be for sure some inspiration of my old Latrix work.

I like this. Its not something one sees everyday in real life. I would think it was spectacular for sure. However… this is something I’d see on DragonBallZ. So if you make the characters realistic (and the background too) then it will look more believable and hence more spectacular since a real life version of that scene would be WOW!

its great concept, but I recomend break angles for the poses… or one superhero strikes to the other against the building, makin destrucction and people die … :twisted: … sorry Im exited :buttrock:

Now this image looks like something truly spectacular!

Djiemsi, as others have noticed, this looks a lot like somthing from the DBZ series, but it’s what makes it look so damn good! I would suggest very nice motion blur in the image, to put emphasis on the speed of the blows, but you probably thought of that already.

And I advise you go with the whole city, not make it wrecked or destroyed, that would make it a bit TOO like DBZ, and they might penalize you for it.

BTW, the sword has to look uber cool man, don’t just use a regural katana style, I would go with more of a medieval two-handed one, or maybe an english longsword.

Just a few things I thought you should keep in mind… :slight_smile:

Will try to do another sketch more detailed :slight_smile:

Sorry for not posting this week end guys. I was waiting for my new computer to work and it arrived only yesterday.
Fed up to work with my little powerbook. Now i have a very nice machine to work on Cg :slight_smile: :slight_smile:
Anyway, about the sketch, I think to not continue it right now. You got the idea of what I want to do. And I really want now to focus my work on the 2 characters. I have in my head the look of them - superheroes shapes. So I will begin the modelisation now :wink:

Lilian, Man this a promising concept sketch, Even I think that the camera angle is perfect, it is adding a lot of depth to the scene, May be just try adding little more FOV, it might help.

Ok, I think to have a woman vs a human air combat would be interesting. So this is the very beginning of the head of the superheroe woman.
I though about that after watching again Kill Bill. A woman fighting a big heavy muscle hulk like or wolfwerine like superheroe can be more spectacular than just 2 men.
I still have to think about what superpower the 2 guys will have :stuck_out_tongue:

Model so far looks cool dude:thumbsup: Only thing is the eyebrows are missing, maybe this is your concept for the female.
