Spectacular 3D Entry: laurent antoine lemog

#721

Merci Nicolas

You’re right mate… the only thing we can say, it that in the XIXth century style… but the back was so much “avant-garde” :scream:

#722

Don’t hesitate to continue like that, don’t pay attention to my jokes… This was just a certain humor…

#723

lol, exactly  Or maybe rather “derrière-garde”

#724

You’re not the only one to point that my friend !
but you can be reassured… I will post soon some update… with her texture…

I don’t know if I must answer to that :scream: hahahaha

#725

The Swedish mind is not really different than the others… but I was too much absorbed by my work… and I don’t think to that while posting this render

That’s what I thought … now continue with your “derrière-garde”, they will be splendid supports for the balconys

thanks for bringing some fun to this otherwise boring morning

#726

I’m very happy to have your approval and I take care to the back-guard now

#727

First test of texturing for the lamp… I want something really discreet… this lamp it doesn’t the most important piece in the scene.

I must choose between this one with some contrast for body and vines… and the next version.

#728

The other version… without contrast…

#729

Tha 2nd is best Lenut!

Congratulations on this thread of yours. I’ve been going through the pages and it’s been a lot of fun! :applause:

You’re probably the first modeler I find that goes through the trouble of actually modeling everything in a scene like you would do with objects in the real world, even when there’s no real need for it. I was begining to think I was the only one!
I’ve been wondering, though - what method do you use for the carvings on the columns? Do you model those details aside and stick them on the main model, extrude them, zbrush them or what? I think they’re what I like the most - they look real cool.
Love the books, too. Great textures.

I can’t wait to see this with the lighting done.

#731

Waouwww… what’s happen here… what a story for a lamp… oh the back … omg… poor girl… … anyway, the front is very cool… for now i prefer the contrasted version we can see more of the beautiful modeling… but depend on your scene… it’s a good modeling and textures… keep it going!! :bounce:

et merci pour ce Super French Nut!!! lol very funny!! :scream:

#732

I think the second one … less bondage :smiley:

#733

Thanks for advice mate

I can reassure you… I don’t work like that in my job… imagine the face of my boss:scream:

Well… you too have the details passion… If you’re interesting, you can take a look on my website… there’s with all details, all nuts, screw and over cables…

Very simple… I just model these details apart… but I always used the same mapping projection to have the same grain… that’s all.
Thanks for your comments Sonia

#734

Display the modeling is not the finality… but I want to have something decorative, but a little discreet. As you said, depend of the scene…
I certainly wait until next week to take my decision, thanks for your advice Simon

Well honey… thank you… Finally, I think that you are worse than me, and than you still want always more :scream: hahahahahahahahahaha perhaps I will choose some new textures, skin of panther and black latex :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

#735

perhaps I will choose some new textures, skin of panther and black latex

That’s exactly what I was going to suggest for the librarians outfit!

hahahaha… oh, better go working again

#736

Discreet ? are you kidding ? I though that you were an “alias” member…
Shame on U ! :argh:

#737

Mouahahahahahahahahaha… great mind girl…

…it’s exactly what I planed to do :scream: hahaha just need to find some spare time… this week-end I certainly can’t work so much… less than the week certainly.

Shame on me… keep discrete

#738

Lemog…so bent on saving eggs…but what about librarians’ bottoms? :scream: Beautiful work though…carry on   :applause:

#739

Aside from the whole egg-saving business, I’m inclined to vote for the low contrast version. It looks less forced somehow.
