Spectacular 3D Entry: laurent antoine lemog

#2501

Hi Lemog,

I like the image, I wish the center of interest would be more in the middle.
And I think that motion blur in a 3D still is very difficult, less is more.
And one more, there is a column in the middle that is overthrown.
This column stops visuell the motion of your angel.

but overal it’s a good image, it’s a pity that all your great work for
this challenge can’t show in one image.

but you know it is only my opinion, see you in the next challenge.

Cheers

Ralf Stumpf

Makes sense not bringing in winter here… how about making it a kind of tree with very bright branches? I’m sure there are that kind of trees somewhere … and by making them bright but not white the sad mood could still be there, right?

Ooh - so is it pigmee time now? :bounce:

And if you’re not making pigmees, perhaps some garden gnomes?

hahaha, I’ll stop now - promise :scream:

#2503

Hahaha… don’t stop… thanks to you… I found a new evolution for the story… exit the pigmees… and welcome the young wild children… between prehistorical children and lost children of Peter Pan… maybe that appear less strange and les contrasted than pigmees… but like that, I can keep some frost touch, and these nowhere children…
That can works good… what do you think about that ?

I’m really happy to know you Gunie… you manage well my mind

#2504

There’s a reason about the actual center of insterest that is little high… I’ve planed to add some guys in the low parts… previously some pigmees, but that certainly change in children…
I understand your point of view about the blur… but without… all the pic remain very static… and I need some details wich contrast like that, if not… no motion… and no understandable things…
But for the moment, you based your comments on the last small rendering… largely photoshoped… I hope to have something more “thin” anc more “clear” with the final renders…
About the column… your the first who’s disturbing by it… maybe you’re right… I really don’t know… perhaps I can reduce this odd vision while compositing… or… I must change of camera framing…
Thanks for you advice Ralf… you always have an objective vision… I know that

#2505

A great lesson for me to watch how you bring all these together:bowdown: …again nothing to crit, the more I look at it, the more I like it, colors are coming along very good, I like this blue-ish touch.
Still curious to see the final additions…

#2506

daWinky -> I know… that comes slowly… and the next result will have certainly lot of more modifications in the next days… but you know that with your entry… and lot of people here too… all is possible then… the best and the worse… :scream: hahaha… compositing update soon… (mmmh… the Photoshop file comes to be heavy… argh :argh:
Thanks Sabie

#2507

Yes! I’m happy about the idea of lost prehistoric kids - very good! It will show the message clearly without involving a specific culture - bravo :applause:
I’m glad if I can push you in the right direction- you do it so well for me… our minds match eachother well sometimes

#2508

The only prob… if that give me certainly more work :scream: hahahahaha

#2509

Oh my god… what has heappend in here.

Shame on me 4 my spare visits during the last few weeks. I was so busy with my own work that i missed the whole cool stuff… dam! :banghead:

You are so awesome… and so fast…, that´s impossible… dit you ever sleep?!
Or maybe you are what i have somehow assumed… The dark lord of CGI

AWESOME PROGRESS and realy great environment.

(maybe a hint: how about if the Angle illuminates the environment?!
let´s say it´s more close to dawn with very low ambient light… and the Angle has some kind of blue/green glow that illuminates the close surrounding objects. This could give the scene a bit more atmosphere and to get the creeps when you are looking at it?!)

Nethertheless… Stunning! Awesome! and absolut perfect!
Keep it on Friend!
only 14 Days left!
