Spectacular 3D Entry: Fred Roberts
OK, maybe its a bit elaborate, but here goes.
Ronny Devlin was one of the world’s first daredevil motorcyclists. He was born poor, and made his fortune jumping over bigger and more dangerous obstacles. After a time the money was no longer the object. The stunts had to be bigger, and better. He finally pushed it too far. He tried to jump reptile rock canyon – over three helicopters. He had the height, and distance but a sudden draft pushed the third hellicopter up too high, tragically ending his career and his life.
The story doesn’t end here, though. Ronny left behind a wife Patrice, and two sons Ronny Jr. and Bo Devlin. Ronny Jr and Bo were 15 and 17 when their father died, already accomplished freestyle motorcyclists themselves, and though they were destroyed by the death of their father it didn’t deter them at all. In fact, they became driven by his memory, each trying to outdo the other. Patrice didn’t like the fact that her boys were following in their father’s footsteps, but didn’t interfere. She took to praying, a lot. Ronny Jr. celebrated his 21st birthday accomplishing the stunt that killed his father. Bo made the jump on his 20th birthday. They both continued, pushing the envelope, trying to do a bigger better jump. Their rivaly escalated until now.
The boys both kept their father’s manager who has finally convinced them to take the stunt to the next level. Both will make the jump simultaneously from opposite directions. The stunt is dangerous enough, but Ronny Jr. and Bo both decided to show the other up and are doing the jump as if it were a freestyle motocross jump, teporarily leaving the seat.

Will they make it . . .
shouldn’t have anymore duplicate postings . . .
Didn’t read the submission instructions until just a minute ago.
Looks like that has a chance of being painful. Try a more dramatic POV from below…looking up through the blades. Good luck!

Yeah, I think I will play with the camera angle a lot when the modeling is complete.
Thanks for the input!
I changed my mind, I need to play with the camera before I start modeling. The final shot will dicate the detail I need in the models, and will even dictate if some models like the ramps are even needed. I am not sure I like this shot, but I think its close. Any input is appreciated.
I don’t think I like it, but thought I would post it anyway. Is this close to what you suggested Nichod? I am looking to make a BIG picture and want a lot in it. The jumpers will be the focus, but there will be a ton going on. I am still leaning toward III.
Trying to get a more dynamic perspective. I think this will be the final angle. Now time to start modeling . . .
I missed a week, company sent me on travel. Next will be the visor, the motorcycle, helicopter, canyon walls, etc . . .
nice concept and a dramatic story behind it! this could be great!
welcome and goodluck man!
