Spectacular 3D Entry: Fernando Fagundes Pires
My first sketch for my entry.
It will be called The Life Museum.
When I first heard of this challenge, I first thought about a space scene. Trashed it… then this one appeared like a blow in my mind.
Museums are about old thing. History. What if “life” itself became history?
What would be more fascinating to a world of robots than to enter a museum and see… life? The very last specimens of life, in a world of machines.
In my entry, a robot enter the museum with his mechanical dog, watching a female in the artificial scenary. She looks in despair within her chamber, willing for freedom, as the robot contemplate the scene with amusement…
Thanks guys. I’m happy to receive your support.
Tomorrow I’ll be posting a new, enhanced concept, and the concept of separate objects.
I like to make a single sketch for each part, in order to add the most quantity of details possible.
Good luck for ye’all too.
This is an improved sketch, with better colors and some new details.
I’m still in doubt if I will keep the woman with hair or shaved, though I think she will be shaved to give a more “experiment” feeling.
Notice that the green fields go far beyond the door and the ceiling, pointing that a portion of her environment must be artificial. How much of what we’re seeing is actually there and how much not?
Thanks for viewing

Heya, thanks for your support.
(o)ne: Thanks!
GutoSpósito: Nice to see you there too. Ain’t you joining the contest?
UNDERLINE: lol, yea this is gonna be my first “serious” female body, but I’ve already been studying for a while.
Fredy: Proud to know someone will be following my work
thanks.
I will probably begin the modelling tomorrow. We got three months, but I cannot relax.
I realy like the concept. But maybe if the camera came a bit far from the subject it will give a bit more harmony to the scene in order to not give to the robot and the woman to much perspective distortion, and to centralize they too in the composition.
allright .nice expresstopn on the ur scene. U can start ur Spectacular now . Nice to meet U and goodluck …
Thanks for the coments
Yakuza: Taking a 'lil too long to start the critics, eh? Heheh, alright.
I like your idea, I think you’re kinda right. I just don’t want them to be too much far away from the camera.
I’m gonna try to test this once I start the 3D. As always, your comentaries are apreciated.
