I wish you the best Dimi
Spectacular 3D Entry: Dimitris Liatsos
…A more pleasing to eye solution…made also the water more on the floor.
All the scene maybe needs a little more light, but this will show i think when characters are in place.
C&C are welcomed.
P.S…errr…i may have a lot of work…but i will finish this…arghhh…
…insert a lot of boing …boing …boing emoticons here… :-).
Looking great Dimitri
Good job my friend.
EDIT: i dont worry about the mood of the final image . i know you can make it happen . as for the textures as laurent said you can see some of them repeating . the wet floot looks really good
It is looking excellent. You are right though, it does need a bit more light. With all that water, things would be glistening more
All is really good for me… wet ground is better and a good idea…
…but the little wall… texture is better than the previous version… but tiling is very visible…
that’s all for me my lord ![]()
hmmmm like it !
hmmm no
love it -> thats better
But, one question for u my love Dimi, what is Enviroment ?
New Word ?
New Concept ?
Huhuhu
:bounce::bounce:
with a better light and better textures. this will be one of the most spectacular scene here… ![]()
add some dirt at the stone texure and this will make the texture look mutch better and the tilling will be hidden…
keep it up
@ Agamemnwn, Lemog, mac_andre … Yup…unfortunately there is a tiling issue on that wall…i am trying the suggestion of mac_andre …add some dirt …also made the testure in exact UV size so that no tiling effect is there…i 'm still also experimenting on that wall’s color…i don’t want it to be so…colorfull …if you know what i mean…:)…thx friends…:bounce:.
@ Lync …u are right…but i also thing …becuase the scene is in a rainy day light…the glistening must not be too much as i have observed in the film…there is a soft light everywhere…:wip:…thank u!
@ flaeticia …hey…although i don’t write too much to everybody these days…i am watching your scene…:applause:. Thanks little Frenchy nutty girl. :wavey:.
Updating soon …i hope.

Dimi… Congratulations…
The bar is betting set higher and higher and higher… again
LYW!
Without doubt it’s better… just my thought now… always about the little wall (don’t kick me:scream: )
For the tile… new thing is a good idea… but for the 2 different colors of stone, I’m partaged…
WHy 2 different stones ? I ask to the monks too…
If it’s really a build choice… I think the last stair must have the same color than the wall… it’s a wall part, no ?
But I think that will be better and less disturbing (maybe only for me…:banghead: ) if you have the same type of stone for the both… and that will be more in the zen attitude… :surprised
Just if you want… you can increase the contrast between the both with lighting/shadowing… or simpler, with the diffuse of one of them…
It’s surely getting better and better and I think it will be fantastic. As for tje two colors of the stone… Come on guys let him do his magic, he will not dissapoint you!:bounce:
@ Daddymack …
…stop it man. I am not that good …but thanks for kind words.
@ yunisirees… thanks my friend…u are too kind .
@ nemirc …stop teasing my Frenchy nut friend Laeticia…this is my priviledge:scream: .
@ Gpepper and Lemog …U are right about different colors…it was done in purpose …i need to see what color is more close to what i have in mind. I finally came to conclusion to use the one of the wall in the stairs too but with an overall more dark (about 20%) look.
What do u think?:bounce: .
Thanks my friends.
@ IpiotisDinos…thanks my friend for the support and kind words but don’t worry …the French Nuts are very kind friends and mean no harm …only good . I also especially charich Laurent’s opinion in this kind of modeling/texturing issues …he is one of the best.![]()
For me it’s the better choice… and surely sufficient… this little details doasn’t have to catch spectators eyes… but, we must anyway “understand” what is the background…
…it’s always very difficult for the details really right front of the camera.
Detailed some stuff around his clothes and also fixed some stuff regarding his proportions.
This ia all of him …i think …before rig and ZB Displacements.
C&C are welcomed.
…and a fast render of him.
I think that his rigging and Displacements on clothes won’t be so much trouble (after i checked some stuff in XSI and ZBrush…)…i think…
C&C are always welcomed.
U are right in all points. I agree also that it’s very difficult to show all detail in a front view …it’s playing it’s role just for the viwer to understand where is everything happening…Thanks Laurent
