Here is my concept for my first challenge, it’s not really original, a child find something that surprised him, i don’t know what yet, but i’ll found.

I do like that sketch, yes indeedy. I like the way his legs are slightly bowed, it exaggerates the surprised position, good on you!

As for a surprise, maybe it could be a nuclear mushroom cloud? So he’s in this nice meadow area with cute flowers around him and devastation in the distance?

At least my concept will be a kind of tribute to the “Iron Giant” Brad Bird’s movie, i know it’s easy but i assume, the robot will be made in 3d, hope it will be ok for the 2d challenge…

i really like this… i prefer the more subtle quite image as aopposed to the inyour face action filled variety… this is really good… and robots!! I am doing that too

Hey yo thomas!!:scream: goos sketch…but maybe you should accentuate the spectacular feeling…I don’t know where tou’re going on with this…maybe you’ve not showed us your whole idea?(maybe you work on it?) but for advice, maybe the robot coulb give his hand to the boys? and he can have a weapon on his other hand…? so that could be more spectacular?..anyway that’s a good sketch…so keep it up…see you later on your thread.:slight_smile:
