Tornado of People…

#82

phew! Thanks, pushav…I never…would have…heard…the end…of it…:scream:

I mean, nothing to see here, people, nothing to see! whistles, twiddles thumbs :smiley:

#83

Now it is a tornado of people.:applause:Lol.

Nice save. 100 points add to your total score!:buttrock:

#84

Cool tornado of people Rebecca. One of my all time favorite tales is “Danté’s Inferno.” Have you read it? Some excellent parallels in your image to his description of where the Lustful end up in hell. I haven’t read all of your posts here yet so you may have already alluded to a connection to Danté. If not, I really think you would love the tale.

Can’t wait to see more. :thumbsup:

#85

Kyle,

Thanks! :slight_smile: Unfortunately, I haven’t read Danté’s Inferno but I imagine it’s a lot like my early morning commute to work, lol. :slight_smile:

Thanks for the encouragement! :slight_smile:

Cheers, :slight_smile:

Girl, after you have finished this epicst of all visions! That in its ambition and scale clearly strikes the very heart of spectacularity, I expect rebeccak action figures being sold on the cgshop - I would definitly buy one! :thumbsup: :smiley:

#87

hihi, rebecca action figures in greyscale it would be :wink:

Kyle is right, it somehow reminds of Dante. I am just reading it one more time. well if anyone gets reminded of the christian hell he is most of the times unawarly reffering to Dantes description of it.

i am really curious on what you are planning to do with this one. keep it up:thumbsup: rebecca

#88

so if tornado like grabs a bunch of people they all freeze into same position ?

.

#89

This idea sounds fab! And disturbing… Do you imagine every figure as individual?

11thDoor mentions ‘Dante’s Inferno’, well do you know the work of John Martin. Your idea is nothing like his stuff, but it made me think of it for some reason, with Dante and all. It’s certainly Spectacular. This one is in the Tate in London and is quite big!

The Great Day of His Wrath

I want to see the deleted post now… :twisted:

:applause: duaahhaa

nice pic RK.

#91

@Solothores,

Hehe, thanks!!! Lol, no way I’m going to be able to finish every single figure like that for this challenge…

@Llynna,

LOL, that is soooooooo true!!! GI…Gray!!! :scream: Actually, what I was thinking of was more along the lines of ‘The Last Judgement’ fresco in the Sistine Chapel. Prolly based on Dante anyway…not sure when his ‘Inferno’ was written, and I’m too lazy to Google it. :scream:

@Poshspice,

Thanks, and thank you for the link!!! That is a beautiful piece, and hmm…fewer figures with Spectacular impact! Thank you! :slight_smile:

@Squibbit,

ROFL…Yes. :scream: It’s a natural phenomenon, don’t you know! :wise:

@NOOB!,

Thanks, hahaha!

Cheers, :slight_smile:

heehee crazy idea rebecca! I look forward to seeing what else you come up with :slight_smile:

#93

Hi Rebecca!

What will you create?! Something figurative?! :scream:
Nice start, I look foward to see final image, because I haven´t seen any 2D digital image from you.

Good luck!

#96

rawwad,

ROFL, I was thinking for my next piece…toasters. Definitely toasters. :scream:

Cheers, :slight_smile:

#97

anjong^^,
this is gonna be a stiff competition. :wise:
:arteest::wavey::surprised no more pros please, hrhr…

#98

Rebecca, that’s ALOT of figures in that swirling vortex thingy! LOL. Looks great, however. You’re a bit more ambitious than I would dare to be… but then again, I’m pretty lazy. :smiley:

You gonna stick with that concept or develop some more? I love your work and can’t wait to see what you decide on. :bounce::bounce::bounce:

I’ll check back with you later, girl…

Cheers!

#99

Interesting idea Rebecca, I hope you’ll finish it. :slight_smile: Good luck in the competition.

#100

comaone,

Lol, I’m not that much of competition because there’s no way I’ll finish. Just for fun. Thanks for stopping by! :slight_smile:

artjunkie,

Hey, thanks! :slight_smile: I’m lazy too, it’s why, as Squibbit dutifully noted, a lot of the figures ‘landed in the same position’, lol! :scream: I think I’ll stick with the concept but later tweak the perspective so that you are seeing far fewer figures (so this project lands closer within the realm of possibility, lol!) :slight_smile:

Thanks for dropping by! I just looked at your concept and really like your drawing style. :thumbsup:

Jan~Mark,

Thanks! Will you be entering too? Just do it for the fun of it ~ nothing to lose! :slight_smile:

Cheers guys, :slight_smile:
