Thanks Squibbit, Xillion!
I dont know if i can ever finish this. But i’ll try my best.

This is about the first lightspeed launch somewhere in the future. Im not sure what im showing yet. I want to try and capture the sense of enourmous speed that scares…when it fly pass an orbital ship and crash the huge glass screen, with people gasps and running for their lives…

We’ll see…i dont know

This is somewhere in the future…earth

An attempt to travel at the speed of light. This is the initial stage of the flight as the probe takes a ‘slingshot’ around the upper earth atmosphere before launching out to outer space and attempt to break the light barrier.

As the lightspeed craft sling-shooting, it passes a certain visual checkpoints guarded by fighters. In this composition, I am trying to capture the spectacle of the lightcraft passing by the fighters from the cockpit view, with a long, long G-trail (the smoke you see at the back of a plane when travelling high G) indicating the extreme speed the craft is travelling.

The fighter planes also encountering a tense moment when having to go evasive on the warping lightcraft.

A quote from the pilot transmission (after dodging the craft)

“Visual confirmation, Checkpoint Omega Cleared. Over”

breaking the light barrier…mmm…ok, Einstein is already dead

hey, you’ve got a good concept, the only problem I find is showing in the picture that amazing speed feeling, but you’re doing a good job IMO…
just to clarify things…the cockpit we are seeing is from a fighter, right? or is it from the lightcraft?

Thanks for replying elmasfeo. Yeap einstein is dead but i cant find anything else for a concept.

Yeap…i still dunno how am i gonna portray the sense of amazing speed…the relative speed of the lightcraft to the fighters is one i guess…that subconcious i guess…Then we have the trail that goes back hundreds and hundreds of miles…that indicates the speed of the thing…some motion blur perhaps…somewhere…

I might bring the encounter closer to the fighter to show more of the ‘star’ of the composition…the lightcraft itself.

Will post an update of the sketch soon. THanks!
