Keep the ideas coming

#23

:scream:

looking nice! (nothing constructive lol)

Master Nathaniel. You just blow my head off with these concepts. Wonderful. They are all great, but I really prefer blue/purple one with the sun.

I know this one will be fantastic!

#25

Damn, I love how you build atmosphere in your images. Your thumbnails look so real.

The Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Statue of Liberty dont move. I guess coming up with a weird form that attracts the eye and blowing that shape up to gargantuan proportions is a winning formula for something spectacular.

#26

I’m attracted most to the lighting concepts and cities - which obviously play to your strengths. While the futuristic cruiser is also spectacular in ways I’m mightily impressed by, it almost detracts from the ‘purer’(?) vistas you had displyed earlier. Whatever - its just amazingly refreshing and inspiring stuff - I approach a scene so differently that I’m sure I can learn alot from you  I look forward to more - and finding out about how you are going to choose between such rich images.

goodness.

#27

it seems really impressive.
Did u use any referance about city?
good lucks…

#28

hey Nathaniel,

These concepts look great, I really dig you style and can’t wait to see where you go with this one.

I think I like the city scapes the most but, the star cruise has potential as well.

This is my first contest here and I’m really excited to see everyones work.

Keep it up, and I hopefully will have something to post soon.

Good luck!

Whoa, dude… I absolutely LOVE your thumbnail studies. Awesome lighting… and your latest has great composition too! Genious!

Keep going… I gotta see more!

I was about to say about those one concepts, man that would have been mind blowing if you just hand painted those photos digitally, Great concepts, Good luck!

#31

Wow

Okay there’s some nice concept work here, those visuals are stunning! Can’t wait to see you really get stuck in.

Good luck!

:bounce:

#32

 Nice concept work - I love your free / loose style…really shows how less is more sometimes (I hope this sounds complimentary…I tend to start adding line and detail too quickly which can make a concept drawing look messy and overworked if you are not careful).

Can’t wait to see how this develops

Good Luck!!

#33

Your new title is ‘master of atmosphere’. Really cool stuff, especially the last one.

#34

Good luck with your spectacular proposal:thumbsup: Zalo

Hello Nathaniel!

I love your cruiseship!

When I first saw this challenge, my immediate thought was, projecting backwards, say, like 50 years or so, what would be spectacular? (Cuz that’s essentially what the challenge is, right?)

And the first thing I thought of was the space shuttle blasting off.

This comes pretty close! Nice work!

Cheers,
Bobby.

I really love your style as well as the concept sketches you have done, particularly the one with the sunrise. Good luck! I should probably begin my concept sketches.

#37

Hey, looking great. I love cool palletes  I think it would be cool to use more action. But I thinnk is you do a scene and go for a HUGE spectacular scale, thatd bo cool too. Good luck man, Ill keep an eye out for you

#38

gosh, great sketches coming along~how could i have miss this thread~?i’ll be back again for more~

#39

The details on that far right building are amazing! How long did this take you for just a “Concept Sketch”

I cant wait to see more!

Hey all,

I’m playing off of the last comp. This is a craft hovering above a crowd with some extra crafts passing overhead. More of an ominous implication of action to come, rather than showing the action. Kind of that feeling of impending doom. Does it feel like that for you or no?

More to come, and thank you everyone for your feedback. I greatly appreciate it!
