Hey mike! I knew I’d find you in cgtalk-land. thanks for the “heads-up” about the contest, it’s been on since monday and I didn’t even notice! ahhhhhhh
GOOD LUCK! and we all miss you.
:bounce:
Well hello and good luck to everyone in the next CG Talk challenge once again.
It is good to be back and this, my second time around, and plan on finishing this time, which will be for the first, hehe.
For my “spectacular entry” this time, I am planning on going back a few years, just a tad before the “reality” TV shows hit the air. No, this is going back to the days before TV, when people had to put on “spectacular” shows and events to attract and entertain the masses. Also back to a time before political correctness and numerously double checked safety measures. Back before WW2, but just after the first one i think (i still have to choose the exact era).
So anyways this is my first sketch idea about those wacky old stuntmen “riding” a plane high above a crowd far far below.
I am already looking forward to so many of the entries, this challenge should be a blast!
Beautiful sketch, original concept. Even more spectacular if they were flying upside down!
hey, good work mr b! This is a bit out of your “normal” style too. Quite nice indeed. Great concept, I wish I’d thought of something like that… Hey, the composition would look even better if you had a long scarf on one of the guys, indicating “top speed” while it billows in the wind.
Good luck from the land of “far far away”.
Mike,
I am liking what I see!
A little different than the norm for you.
I will be posting something soon as well.
I’m sure you heard the news about me.
It is good to be back. I miss your presence here.
Contact me here if you like.
Hope all is well where you are.
Later buddy,
Jason
