Pretty cool! I like sieges! Welcome to the challenge and to cgTalk (just in case you were new). Are you going for some arabic setting in your piece ? with that colours it would be great!

Nice sketch.

If it’s a siege, make sure the characters appearing in the scene show their emotions (if they are hopeless, or if they dont worry at all for the enemies because dont worry about death, or they think no one is gonna enter the fortress).

Lovely sketch. I like the intimacy of the tewo people, contrasted against the vastness of the besieging army.

And the colours and composition for such a rough sketch work so well!

Great composition and theme. Although battle scenes aren’t all that origianl, I absolutely love that detail of the one figure resting his hand on the shoulder of the shorter figure. That adds a wonderful bit of narrative to such a dark theme and involves the viewer on a more emotional level. GENIOUS!

Keep going, I can’t wait to see more of this!
