Man this is a great idea. Great contrast in what’s happening in the scene. Anyway, I kinda thought that they were playing chess when I first saw the thumbnail and was kinda disappointed when I saw that they were just drinking. This is a crazy scene but would’nt it be crazier if they were concentrating on a game of chess AND drinking whiskey or smoking some cigars? You know, just casually playing chess… Coz, like that funny story about some drinking guys from Baron Impossible, guys who drink really do crazy stuff. And it just looks like they’re both drunk and have lost their common sense or something. And I dont think nails will hold the platform they’re on against the tornado. I think you need a lot more support than that. Just my thoughts

Haha, fantastic concept. Very original. You just know they are facing certain death, yet you don’t feel bad for them, looking at their brave attempt to fight it. Good sense of black humor.
About the poses: I’d let one of the guys hold the edges of the table, tight and cramped, as if he is about to be torn away from it. That way it immediately strikes the viewer that they are trying to brace themselves as good as they can.
This is definitely one of my favourite concepts already, I’ll be watching this thread. Good luck!
