Spectacular 2D Entry: Ehud Rosenberg
I’m going for a specatcular space scene here.
This has been done to death in the past year or so, and I am well aware of that. However, I really enjoy this genre and hope to achieve something interesting (and have some original ideas as well).
This is the first WIP and is very early. What do you think? I already see several things lacking here…
Comments are apreaciated. also, take a look at my previous work:
whoa~already looks like a finished painting to me~a great start indeed~
have fun and good luck with the challenge:thumbsup:
incredible start! i like how the crust and magma work, just like it would work in real life (god forbid something like that ever happening! ). good luck in the contest!
hi foodfight just checked out ur deviants i say ur master at space
! and this one shall be amazing i say again!
cheers!
WOW, I sure as hell wasn’t expecting such nice feedback on this, especially so early on
Thank you all very much, you got me all motivated so I’m going to put some more work into it.
I’m wondering if it’s allowed to add 3d renders in a 3d scene? probably not…
the concept is grat but you could for a more dinamic angle something dat would give the impresion of treue terror for the one that is looking…the rest is good luck
Hi Ehud…this looks really spectacular…really lovelly detail
The only thing I would suggest (and I’m sure you plan to do this), is to add some debris flying outwards from the impact. maybe some subtle shock waves spreading out.
Anyway …really amazing start…good luck :applause:
Pretty impressive for a concept, if this is how good your concepts are, I can’t wait to see a final painting!

Very spectacular idea, i like how you handle the impact zone, but i think the atmosphere of the earth must react to the impact, so we could see some shockwave in the clouds, runaway from the impact zone, it’s too much clean the atmosphere i guess…
I’m wait for more uploads, see you!
Sorry for the english, i’m a newbie in the languaje…i’m from Chile in southamerica.
