Hey, cool idea. Good luck with the execution. (I’m also kicking around the idea of a “death from above” image, albeit in 3D.)
still looking for a good composition… here’s an experiment gone wrong… scale is off on the guy
i think the experiment is too light… i want it much darker… like a night shot.
still doing concept… i don’t think i explained my concept very well… i’m basically going for one of those fire in the sky things… like… meteor’s hitting the planet… i want to play with some colour contrasts… like… …cool blue night sky against… warm flaming orange…yellow meteor shower…
I tried taking the character out altogether on this one… was just trying a composition… hopefully i got more depth in this one.
slighty different lighting…
another test i guess… don’t like the composition… thinking of changing it.
Wasn’t happy with the composition… thought about adding some elements… maybe an altogether different shot… here’s a couple thumbnails of some possibilities.
Great start on you’re painting, you’ve got a few concepts that would make great images. My favorite is post no. 10, with the eerie yellow light comming over the horizon. I think if you added some of the comets to that composition it would make a great scene. I like the solitary figure in the foreground as well, it really helps to creat an ominous mood. Keep up the good work. Alexi
