Thanx=)
yeah, I agree. I like this one better.
There’s something strange with the perspective on the last one

#41

suspense…great!

#42

 4 winged creatures where in my idea, damn u stealing my ideas!!!

gggrrrr kills com

#43

Commie!

Brilliant ideas you come up with! Its hard to believe that you dont do this for a living; anyways I agree with past posts in saying that the 2nd the last one is deff the best choice for your piece.

I also feel that the water under the ship looks a little hard/flat might i dare say. I think there should be more splashing water and ya kno overall chaos underneath it (falling stones/parts of waterfall, deff more splashing, maybe some ppl falling off it???)

Anyways, keep up the Brilliant work man! Your gonna come out on-top, i can feel it!

#44

WOW very spectacular !
I like the last one. Really nice camera angle. It gives a great sense of excitement. Great work! good luck!

#45

Thax all.

And ColbyBuss. I know the water looks flat on the pictures. This is just a sketch, where I place the colours around quickly to see the shape and composistion more clearly.
So all the small fx like smoke, water particles, shadows, highlights, volumetric shadows and falling rocks, are gonna be added later.
Ill paint over everything when Im gonna start painting this picture for real

#46

interesting idea.nice work so far.
cheers.

#47

Yet another concept…
Thought I might try a little crazy x-mass theme, since the deadline was in december…

#48

hahah looks excellent man,i like!

#49

Did some colouring, and painted temporarly motionbluur effects at the end.

#50

u have a rather dull colour pallette for a christmas scene

but its too early to say anything, looks like it will be great.

#51

yeah. You’re right…
I’ll paint some more saturated colours then.
thanx =)

#52

here are some more colouring.
saturated and repainted the colours more, since the last one was to dull…

#53

looks real cool.

i know its a night scene, but the colour still seems a lil, desaturated.don’t be afraid to use sum more saturated tones.

apart from that its looking real excellent!

#54

try using, super hot colors like electric green, blue, yellow, red, pink, color at it’s purest! never hurts to try something, right?  You can always fix it!

#55

Great dynamic:) It’s gonna be good

#56

nice job, love those dragons, don’t know about the cat, stick with dragons,
very cool, have fun, :applause:

#57

A Christmas Tree Monster? That’s so bizarre and original… I love it! And hey, even if you don’t win the Challenge, it’ll be over in December and you’ll have your holiday cards all ready to go!

Only comments I would make on it are that the composition feels all pushed towards the left, leaving the right side too empty. What if you flipped the foreground sleigh so that it were on the lower right insead of the left? Also, might be nice to see some more Christmas-tree-like accoutrements on the tree-monster: Some dangly balls, strings of lights, something to push it even further…

Anyhow, hope this one gets developed more. Good luck!
