Heres a rough sketch in sketchbook pro.
Its not even completed. I need to draw more houses (alot) and more people…
It’s a dragon race, where two people controll each dragon on top of their heads.

now that i think about it,maybe u shud try to come up with another creature other than a dragon,i can’t tell u how many times sumone has used a dragon for past cg challenges lol.

Yeah, you’re right Noob. After I looked around in the threads I noticed that aswell.
especially for the older contest. And I saw many people remove their dragon ideas, and made something completly different.
Im new here. Im just glad I found out about this the first day

BTW part of the rules is that you have to interact with people,so go comment on others work,make friends.

hmmm I think that you may be able to get away with dragons and creatures such as those it just depends how it is portrayed, if you portray it really well people could believe that it is an even that has happened.
Also I think there are some things that are border line fantasy like mythology and legends.
Keep it going, can’t wait to see more from you!

nah com,sciene fiction and fantasy is allowed,it just has to be believable,giant orges aren’t real but lord of the rings made them believable.

Your sketch looks good, but I figured i shouldnt comment on it if you’r going in a new direction anyway. I also started with a “dragon rider” for my master and servant entry. But then I thought it was to “over-done” and went in a entirely other direction. I also have plans however to finish the old dragon concept some day.
My best advice right now is that you shoul just paint whatever YOU feel like painting. The end result will become much better and even if it’s abit “cliche” or it has been done before, try to push the limits and make another view on the topic you choose.
