Spectacular 2D Entry: Adam Clark
Really like the base camp concept sketch. Reminds me of climbing Mt Fuji at night. I never imagined I would be in a queue climbing up a mountain. Everyones torches highlighting the zig-zag path up the mountain.
Don’t know who these guys are below but they have a good crowd pic, on the climb down.

Good luck!
Thanks Sh@ke!
I quite liked the base jump pic too, could go back to that if I can make the view look more spectacular.
Thanks for your replies Duckalator and xric! much appreciated!![]()
Cheers for the link ShichiFukujin!
The picture you mention does look cool! I will definately use that at some point in my concepts.
Well, it was your idea :D… thanks again everyone!
yes the actual ruins sketch is your strongest, lets seem more stuff like that, your other concepts looks good also,i like the idea.
Hey Dude, doing the 2d thing i see… like the concept, but think you sould doa a massive demon whisping in the clouds… that would be soooooo cool…
Catch ya later mate…
P.s How like treating ya after uni ?
cheers man, I’m not too sure about the demon though:)… Well apart from wanting to go back to uni its not bad, although I still havent got a job!
Thinking about moving the idea back about 800 years to the dark ages. Not really sure where this is going, but I liked the idea of the ruins, but wanted to add in an event to link in with the theme of the challenge more, just having base jumpers isnt really that spectacular. So this concept is just a quick idea for some monks who would be living in the ruins or maybe a less runined castle. May keep this purely historical, but might have to merge into fantasy a bit to allow me to do what I want. The monks would have either discovered the ruins in their search for a secluded place or they could be living there and the castle is in the process of getting destroyed by something. or maybe something else…i’ll carry on thinking.
Thanks again for the replies! Been pretty busy/tired lately so I havent had much chance to come here. Hopefully get something more done this week and I might even change the piece completely.
