Some sketches

Hi guys! It’s been ages since Ive posted. Mainly because I didnt really have any work I felt worth posting. Anyways Im studying at Gnomon right now to become an environment artist. I have some sketches I did lately and Ill just post them to get some feedback :slight_smile:

This sketch is already fully worked out into a matte with camera move… Ill post the final matte later with it.

There is less and less activity arround here and it’s a shame. Very cool sketches. Loved the 1st one. How is it at Gnomon? Is it motivating and interesting?

Anyways yea Gnomon is amazing. Defenately a good environment to study and its really really motivating. At least for me it is.

nice concepts you have here, I like the first one , very nice composition, that would be great for some camera projection, looking forward to see your WIP’s!

actually, I already finished that first sketch into a more refined painting and did some cam projection on it :slight_smile:

heres the matte painting:

still wanted kind of a painterly atmosphere on this… a classical sunset piece. Hope it worked a bit.

Hey Akajork, this is looking good.

I`d push it more by doing a little more integration of the elements.
A camera move might already work pretty good in this state.
