for visual fx and desighning interfaces and skins
like what the SKINFACTORY does
and like TV effects …

Photoshop and Painter are awesome graphics apps. Photoshop is the most common for interface skins.

For visual effects like on tv, After Effects rules (and integrates with Photoshop).
