Hello!
I rigged the tongue of my dog character with bones and flexmotion. Everything bends nicely… but I’d like to add a bit of siftbody dynamics at the tip of the tongue. I created a metaeffector for the tip of the tongue, applied Softbody dynamics… nothing happens.
I moved th SBD effects before and after bones, checked “use previous deformation”…
I’m sure I missed something… but What?

This is a bit of a silly question, but its caught me before - under the Soft mapping tab, did you set the correct effector for the weighting?
Sometimes Ive also found that saving, closing and re opening a scene will kick softbodies into action.

When you play with 3D long enough, nothing sounds silly!!!
Yes, This is the right weight map.

I tried with Motion dynamics and It works… I don’t understand why the soft body deosn’t in the same setting (order etc.)
