O.K, I´ll make a correction…
There are only two Spielberg films with Dreyfuss and Williams, but in none of those ILM did the FX. they are JAWS (1975) and Close encounters (1977). Always was produced in 1989, but ILM did the FX.
So, that leaves only 2 options. Jaws was the first big movie for Spielberg, but Close encounters has a biger FX work, so I guess we´ll need a final clue.

That reply did me think of some other - not before mentioned - film: Hook!
In every case Williams did do the music (what he did veeery brilliant… even more brilliant than now-a-days!). So at least one clue would be fitting than. :wink:

It even may be a mix… A pirateship with Peter Pan flying away from it, while captain hook is being attacked by jaws, and while the dinosaurs are keeping an eye on there dinner: the jaws! :scream:

Hook was released in '91, so it doesn’t fit the pre-1981 clue.

JAWS fits the list. It even predates the existence of ILM.
(well, I suppose ILM was formed a few months before the release of JAWS, but at that time they were pretty busy with a little movie of their own :stuck_out_tongue: )

I guess yuo guys didn´t read my post. There are two movies in wich Richard Dreyfuss starred, Williams did the music, and ILM DIDN´T do the effects. Jaws and Close encounters. It can be any of those since both are pre-81. My bet goes for CLOSE ENCOUNTERS because it is vissually more interesting.
