Smash mug against wall

Hello :slight_smile:

Me and a few friends are developing a video game made in the game engine Unity and I am tasked with the dynamics of the game. The question I ask is how to make an object like a mug etc. smash into pieces when hitting a wall, after which I would bake out the simulation and import into the game engine Unity.

For shattering the object, you could try something like this from CreativeCrash:
Shatter plugin

As far as the simulation is concerned, you’re only real feasible option would be Bullet for maya.

Thankyou to all who have replied, I have decided to use pulldownit from creative crash as it allowed for different types of shatter effects which is what the game will need.
