Skin weight changed from PC to Mac??

Hey guys, I just wonder if any of you have ever experienced this weird thing and if there’s any reason for that. I painted skin weight nicely on my PC at home, and opened it up again on my Mac at work, all of sudden a bunch of vertexes lost control and stuck out like crazy. I swear it did’t look like this when I finished and saved it last night on PC!! What is going on here? Anything I can do to avoid this happening again? I’ll need to work on both Mac and PC quite often on this project.

PC is running Maya2016 EXT2, Mac is running both Maya 2016 and 2018. I tried it on both versions, the same result.

Check the Units setting in both maya on the respective PC.
Settings/Preference>Preferences>Setting
Check…!
Skin>Edit Influences>Set Max Influences

Hope this will fix the issues !
