Excellent job as always! I especially love the african child :bounce: Amazing colours on all. Love how you use pastel shades so efficiently!
Beautiful work here! Your paintings have a wonderful feel to them. Tai piaoliang, wo bixu zai hui lai kan kan…
Son of a Gun!!! You just keep on getting better n better!!! Your abilities to abreviate/simplify (still, not the word I’m looking for) are a mistery for me. Rock on:thumbsup:

Hi…Zhuzhu…![]()
Paintings are great as usual…really like the Burne Hogarth studies…I had him for a teacher
years ago…he used to work BIG alot…LIFE SIZE, AND BIGGER THAN LIFE…used conte crayon on BIG sheets of newsprint…standing at arms length away from the paper surface, and using the side of the crayon, he got alot of energy into the figures, by using his shoulder muscle while drawing.
You might want to give this a try…he worked really fast, and with a lot of energy…showed up in his works…I think you would be great at this , and working big has it’s own rewards…

Nice studies Zhuzhu; I agree with Glenn about trying out the big drawings. In the academy where am studying now, they draw HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE. I mean I have to stand on a stool to paint; It is quite overwhelming for me since am quite short; But I am beginning to like it. Hehehe, not that you need any tips from me
SpiritDreamer:cool~! thanks for share that~! i have used large paper often before i know digital. it was great for sure. but i only have a A4 scaner right now, so used the sketchbook.
Queensoul:thanks~! i will try, maybe i need a better DC later. but sometime, i think draw on a smaller paper will be a good challenge.

zhuzhu,
I really love the transparent feel of a lot of your paintings. This last one is really dreamlike- it’s like looking out through a glared window, or a bright day when the sun fills your eyes. Very nice.
BTW, thanks for your complement earlier about my Chinese!! (lol)
Man I love those paintings with the huge ass brushstrokes. Im still trying to learn how to do that. Paint in light. Props mang.

Hi…Zhuzhu…![]()
I like the effects your getting in these latest city scapes…kind of ghostly feel to them…captured with light and shadow…NICE…
If you ever decide to work lifesize again… on those Hogarth studies,…you can always take a picture of them like Rebecca does, and then scan them in…just a thought.
Keep going,…I am really enjoying your work…GREAT way to wake up in the morning…enjoying your colors, and atmosphere’s…![]()
