Dear Glenn,

My deepest condolences.

Remember that noone who dies really loses his life.

This means that while I understand that you might have wished to be able to show him your painting or to still share countless other things, I really hope you know that nothing we ever do is really lost to the memory of the world and especially to the ones we loved.

including you and your father in a prayer,
Murat

Dear Glenn

I’m sorry for your loss. Just don’t forget we’re here, and always trying to transmit to you our positive energy. Altough I’m relatively new on this “family” here, I know enough of you to say you are kind, generous, and good. And I imagine your father was the same way. Be sure he’s on a much better place now than before.

Sincerely,

Amauri

My Heartfelt condolences my friend !

I am so sorry to hear about this, Glenn, especially for the grief I can readily see you feel. Be gentle with yourself and know that your sorrow will lessen as you allow the vibrant memories of your father to comfort you. Take comfort in that no one is really gone so long as we remember them…and what greater way to honor him than to live your life well and in happiness.

My thoughts are with you, Glenn.

With all the help, incouragement and joy you’ve given me in just the sort time i’ve been here, I wish I could give back now in your time of need, but I fear all words would fall short of that of which I wish to exspress, but just know my thoughts are with you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Spirit. I pray that God comforts you and your family and to lift your spirits. Just know that your father is in a better and happier place.

Deepest condolenses, my dear friend… We all mourn with you… I have nothing more to say that can comfort you… Your father will be so much more alive in your memories than physically, I am sure.

Dear Glenn,

Sorry to hear about your father and the loss and pain you must be feeling. At this stage it might not help to hear that time heals wounds and you will have all the precious memories back in a special place where your dad will never be lost - knowing that there are a lot of people sending supportive thoughts to you and your family will hopefully help to ease the pain - even if just a little.

take care

Annette

Very sad to hear about your father, Glenn. And a very doleful coincidence you posting here the work you so wanted him to see and hearing the bad news…Be strong. It’s just how life is. And it’s better that kids lay to rest their fathers, than fathers do this for the kids.

We are all here with you, Glenn.

There are no words that can thank you all enough, or express my feelings of comfort that all of your words and thoughts have given me during this storm in my life. Just wanted to say that your words and thoughts created a needed shelter that has kept me from being swept away into darkness…I HAVE BEEN THROUGH MANY STORMS IN MY LIFE, BUT THIS WAS ONE OF THE WORST…THIS MORNING IS A NEW DAY, AND THE CLOUDS ARE STARTING TO CLEAR.
THANK YOU ALL, FOR HELPING ME GET THROUGH THE WORST OF IT…TIME WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST, LIKE IT ALWAYS DOES…AND THE BEAT GOES ON…

Glenn,

It’s really good to hear that you’re going strong and it’s great to see you back. I think the expression of support here is a reflection of what you’ve given to everyone else. Clearly, you are loved.

Cheers,

-Rebecca

I’m not sure how to respond to a death. I kind of feel cold about it, but I don’t usually have a strong emotion to it. But than again nobody close to me has died, yet. Hopefully that will last for sometime, maybe another 30-40 years. Sometime I want to have kids and try to unload them on my parents, but I know they will get out of it. If they do turn out too obnoxious perhaps I can sell them than, on ebay I presume. I dunno if its good to counter death wtih dark humor though. :frowning:

Really impressive progress on the zbrush sculpting! The heads have great character and seem very controlled now. Years of real world sculpting experience leaking through! The boxing scene is very impressive! My only crit, but this is with the color choice. A little too bright for me, but that’s a personal preference. But a suggestion would be to make the back more desaturated so that the fighters pop out more. It would be awesome if zbrush had true 3d lighting, but that’s a whole new area to drive you nuts!
