Morning Zbrush practice.

#543

Hey Glenn

Muchothanx for stopping by my thread. Really lovin this old hag - your z-brush is improving tremendously, and it’s always filled with lots of character. Conveying emotion can take a piece much further than visual excellence can - as the espressionists proved. And this has both to brag with!

cheers

We are having fun now```

Need to take a break from the ref stuff myself <> getting stiff and predictable

#546

hehe cool! your style is interesting, unique, and awesome all at the same time!

Heya Glenn,

Some very cool stuff going on here, it’s great to see your constant progress!

BTW I will be in Boston July 29 - Aug 3 for SIGGRAPH ~ are you and Mrs. SpiritDreamer attending? You can go I believe to the exhibits floor for free. Regardless of whether you decide to go to the conference, it would be great to meet you two, though in truth my schedule will be kind of unpredictable and somewhat subject to change ~ I think you guys would hugely enjoy the Exhibits floor and it would be easiest to meet you at the conference. Let me know by email if you guys think you might be able to come, my email is: rebeccak4@gmail.com and maybe we can exchange further contact details.

Cheers,

Hey Glenn,

had to immediately think of some of Da Vinci’s caricatures labeled “grotesque faces”.

Only you took them to the 21st century…:scream:

ol’ Leo would have loved them, I think…, as do I…

#549

Hey Glenn,:wavey:

Thanks for this interesting answer…well, it’s more the other way round for me and seeing your constant amazing results that definitely bring me to reconsider my workflow:curious: …

I really enjoy your last zBrush work, so adorable:D …

Have a nice day!

Demented…THANKS…Expressing Emotions is the key element…for sure…without it, art tends to be meaningless…

HEY …MR MU…YAP…DaVinci was in my mind when I did those…THANKS for noticing …

Hi…Sabrina…That is just the method that seemes to work best for me…everybody has
their own ways of seeing and doing,…so don’t short change your own method, if it is working for you…but at the same time, it never hurts to try new ways…you just never know, tell you try… …THANKS for stopping by …by the way…

So the zBrush fun is going on here, always a pleasure to watch your experiments:) …

Of course, not everything works for everyone, but I always have the feeling of being terrible slowly:scream: , so I look around to see how I can improve…but I guess it’s all about practise, practise:shrug: …and hanging around in inspirational threads like yours:D …

Krispee… THANKS …Z BRUSH feels pretty magical to me…more so, the more I explore it…

Rebecca…Yap…I can go across the street, jump in the ocean, and swim to Boston in about fifteen minutes…but I PREFER THE SUBWAY…takes a few minutes longer, but is much easier, and a lot more practical…:scream: …We are really looking forward to seeing you, when you get to Boston…

daWinky…THANKS for the visit, encourement, and kind words…Practice keeps the rust at bay…helps if one really enjoys the journy…makes practice a pleasure…
When I practice, …time does not exist…fast…slow…it really doesn’t matter…results do…
