Demented: Thanks! Glad you like this style.

008 Fifty Heads
Did the top face today - started turning it from a statue into a painting

its really amazing how you get depth in your images with such little, blurry brushstrokes…
the values are right on spot I think.
I keep staring at those faces that come out of my monitor. yay!

#503

…it looks like hologram  simply superb…

What can I say WOW :buttrock:

Good work till now on the statue! I am looking forward to see the finished one… I hope you finish it

Lovely heads! Just don’t like the yellow. A little too saturated. The zbrush models are really coming along! I found 2 more links that may be useful to you. One is a upcoming tutorial by Alexleia of zbrushcentral:

http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=36295&page=1&pp=15

The other is the ztool and obj files used for the leaning posesiden sculpt that was recently plugged.

http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=036233

I think both would be great studying aids for zbrush.

Hey Glenn

looks great man. especially like the top face - older faces always seems to have more personality, more history. Really like the lighting on it. Liking these experiments of yours, keep doing them! Well done:applause:.

008 Bernini Fifty Heads

Was a little intimidated by this statue, wasn’t planning on finishing it, but with all of your kind words and encouragement, I decided to go for it.
Hope you enjoy

Glenn,

It’s looking great, I think the stronger you make it at the grayscale stage, the stronger your color version is going to be…love both faces, those are really coming together beautifully!

Cheers,

THANKS…Rebecca for the feedback… …not sure if I should push this one further, or
what needs to be pushed further on it…sugestions, or even a little paintovor, would be more than welcome,… as always…searching for that higher level of perfection…

BNN: Thanks - Glad you enjoyed my Bernini!

OFDW 018:
My personal take on this hot summer dream. Done!

#514

Hey Glenn

looking great as always. Really like your warm colours - you have a great way of working with them. think you could use with some more dark in the middle, just to get the form flowing a bit better, maybe vary hues of the face and the cloth just for some clarity - kust a passing thought.

Awesome work Glenn, always feel refreshed when I come here.

very warm and fuzzy feel to this puppy <> wonderful emotive quality

#516

Hey Glenn,

really fast work with the OFDW18 picture and I like the result! The overall feeling of a hot summer night is clearly there and your sense for the “right” colors is just admirable:thumbsup: …

Have a nice day!:wavey:

Demented…Thanks…Glad you liked that one…kind of pulled it out of my hat at the last moment, trying to beat that deadline…rush job…LOL…:scream:

DR Bone…THANK YOU…Emotion and warmth was what I was after,…so your comment made my day…THANKS AGAIN…

daWinky…Thanks…Sometimes they come out better, when you throw caution to the wind.
Glad you enjoy the bright colors…half the people think they are to bright most of the time, and the other half love the bright colors…so I guess I will just have to keep following and trusting my feelings, when it comes to color…can’t please everyone, and only a fool tries to…
