Beautiful rendering as usualā€¦maybe a little more expression around the mouth areaā€¦lips,
nostralsā€¦that area is really deserving of a lot of attentionā€¦and is where a lot of the horses character and mood is projected fromā€¦you might check out someone like Fredrick Remingtonā€¦HE DID GREAT HORSES.

Some more work on face and hair, and now itĀ“s time for the background/Surrounding. If I had started this one today, the background would have been more refined already, but I hadnĀ“t realized how much that made things easier for me, when I started this one:)

Sara - You work is great. What software do you use? I just started my digital career with Painter 9 and the Gateway tablet PC. I am loving it. I see you are using Lock as well. I used her a lot with my traditional color pencil work. Keep up the great work.

Started a painting ā€œclose to heartā€. A painting of my sons, Anton and Jakob. A difficult task, since I know their faces so well. Any minor flaw or mistake becomes so obvious :slight_smile:
