The fact that it’s shaped so wonderfully can be a bit intimidating sometimes don’t you think?
Be careful when drawing heads unders an angle concerning the placement of the facial features. The centre line of the face would and eyebrow line must always appear to be crossing eachother at 90degrees. Mind the exspression “appear to be”.
So in your study that would mean bringing the mouth and the bottom of the nose more to the left (our left)
How long do you spend average on those drawings? (just curious)
One thing that is fun to do is to make some quick sketches of the same head before starting a longer study. We had to do 1min, 2min30, 5min, 10min and 20min sketches last night in class and it was really impressive to see everyone’s “auto-correction mode”.
