Hi kary!
Thanx for the kind words:cool:.
Oh the wrists,… did you mean the hands more inwards facing?
A leg up on something is a cool idea indeed,… very sculpty hmmmm:lightbulb

Thanx for dropping by, and the advice is much appreciated.

Inwards yep. The snakey heads could be facing a a bit more forward… basically I was thinking if I clench my fists hard they tend to curl a bit more at the wrist then where his are at the moment.

I’ll look into prototyping that lamp for you! :stuck_out_tongue:

#103

Thanx kary.
Yeah I thought that was it with the wrists,… will do, that will give a lot more power:cool:.

Yeah the lamp! ha ha:)

HEY Chris…That extra little outter edge curve created by the hip muscles makes all the difference…keeps that nice flow and rythum in the figure going on…GREAT job on that figure

I like your latest character by the way…

Thanx fot the nice words Glenn!
Still struggling a bit with the shoulder blades. With heavy musculature they get a bit buried so I am still hunting for clear referance. Hogarth is good but it is pretty heavy stylised. I used to think hands were difficult, but they arnt, every bit is a challenge:). I am working on pronouncing those muscles on the hips more (how did I forget they were there, wont forget again). My best buddy here said the bum was too small so I have to get into that area still.
The fatguy was a quick doodle and now I am working on a bust and trying to make it more realistic for a change. I am useing the golden ratio mask from Marquardt as a base. It makes a big difference even if the altrerations are small.

So you see your comments have been very usefull!

Thanx for dropping by buddy.

#112

Hey Chris…Nice job there…

Maybe the tip of the nose could be a tad bigger and rounder…usually it’s larger than the nostrals…it looks smaller than the nostals at the moment in that frontal shot …A little touch of the inflate brush would do the trick I think…just a minor suggestion and passing thought that might be useful to you…don’t know, but thought it worth mentioning.
Keep up the GREAT work Chris…Looking forward to seeing more…

Hey Chris !!

This character is looking real cool . . pretty interesting hairstyle and props are also well set. You are improving your skills regularly no doubt about that.

I will try to add something constructive to this thread. Take my notices with a grain of salt, as I am not an experienced in anatomy.
About this fat guy: while the first fold under the chin looks convincing, and maybe the next one, going to the ear, but those around the neck to me a overkill. Fat won’t probably gather around the neck so much even in extremes, at least I didn’t find such an example. http://images.google.com.ua/images?um=1&hl=uk&lr=lang_en&q=fat+man&btnG=Шукати+зображення

The infraorbital fold could be a bit more pronounced imo, though he is fat, so it’s a matter of taste. Maybe this thread may be useful to you http://www.subdivisionmodeling.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8911

(if you find my comments stupid it’s ok  , this may be true)
