anandpg: Thanks man. I’m already having fun, and I noticed that people here are really cool and friendly, wich is a great thing. I hope I can learn enough to make such good works as yours!
I’ll tell you a secret: I didn’t know who were that guy I drew.
I just took a book on a shelf, flip some pages, and when I saw that picture I found it interesting and start drawing…
NR43: Be sure, I love long legs.. And do that trick frequently. Well, I always was a self taught arts student, and most of my knowledge came from my own efforts. I've been drawing my whole life, but when I was a teenager I discovered the local university library, and with it I discovered the art books there. Them I started to frequent that place often. And learned a lot with all those books. The quality of my drawings improved drasticaly this time. Then I continued practicing real life drawings, with pencils, colored pencils, acrylics, watercolors and chalks. I didn't have computer that time and because that I digged into the use of traditional media. I don't have artistic degree though, I'm graduated in Mathematics (yeah I know, madness! Heheheh!). But I work as an illustrator here in my country.
I just bought a computer 3 years ago, and when I started to use Photoshop I thought I'd never made quality works with it. It was hard to me trying to mimic the processes I used with natural media during all my life. But I'm stubborn, and it's hard I give up of something... I bought a wacom some time later, and studied a lot of digital painting, with tutorials or simply watching works from great artists here at CGTalk. Then I got my own way to do digital paintings, and it seems it's working!
About two years ago I started to study Maya and Zbrush. I have some trouble with them yet, but I know it's just a matter of time to solve this issue. Thanks for your interest in my BG. ;)
SpiritDreamer: Thank you very much. Althoug I didn't post on your thread I've already seen your works, they are ass kicking and it's great you are here, saying nice words to me. :D
Rebeccak: To me you're the one! And you know this. I can never stress how I consider your work here at CGTalk and care with artists (mainly the new ones) important for this comunity. Thanks again!
As you can see, I told my strange art carer above. But if you want to know more, feel free to ask.
Just after I saw the wonderful works of anadpg, I felt temptated to try something similar. I had some images of classic sculptors in my hard drive, and I decid to start modeling some of them as exercice. Here's my first attempt:

I was trying to follow [this picture](http://www.romancoins.info/portrait-vespasianusblack.jpg)
Any advices about the model proportions or how to make better wrinkles in Zbrush are apreciated. Thanks in advance for all of you.
