Back to traditional medium . Pen sketches from photograph reference (cg talk topic and characterdesigns.com) and other from life (the last one).
Sorry for the bad quality but i don’t have a scanner so I basically photograph my drawing. If somebody has other tips than increase brightness and contrast to make the lines read, i’d like to have your techniques.
thanks
Greg

After looking at the old one i wasn’t too happy about it anymore so here’s an “updated” version:

a little something I did for my sister. Inspired by Bobby Chiu last Stitch painting. Hope you like it :

Hey Anand, better late than never, i finally found the wireframe, as well as another turtle I modeled for the project, the Archelon:

Repost of the textured and detailed turtle:

The Archelon

I like the work on the turtle, funny face and very clear wire also,BTW nice SB, keep going!
And another one from Michelangelo taken from great reference ressources topic http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=200&t=354836

Thanks a lot Heozart,
Your gallery is awesome by the way!
So here’s an update.
I recently bought a real cool tutorial of Zhanglu from ConceptArt.org. I didn’t try to exactly replicate the model drawn in the tutorial but rather study how he painted it.
