Hm. New year. New sketchbook!
Bah. I hope it isn’t a problem, of course!

I ain’t having too much time for practice, but… here are some drawings that I did after the first day of the year to post here. Um… it isn’t much, but I’ll post more when I have available time.

Quick color practices done in 30 minutes each.
No reference used.

[I know I’m a bit late, but…] Happy new year to you all! ^^
Cheers,
Daniel Kim

Um… hello, guys!
It’s been a while, isn’t it? I think none of you must remember me anymore, but it’s ok… I’m putting this sketchbook in the rails again and I hope I can improve more and more. I haven’t draw much personal stuff for lack of motivation, but I’ll work it out.

Some stuff I did while I was off…

I hope the images aren’t too heavy to be downloaded.

nah the images are fine! nice work! hopefully this place will be an inspiration and motivation to you again :)! i know it has for me. i adore your line work, a lot. you have a great eye for form. im loving the white girl with the world a lot, esspecially her lashes! just watch for proportion on some little things, like sizes of hands and lengths of legs. look forward to seeing more of your stuff!

Auria
Thanks for the comments, Auria!
I’ll take more care about the proportions.
I always forget to check these kinds of stuff! XD~

I did a quick master copy today. I really love Simon Bisley’s style, so I thought I should study it a little bit. I probably do more copies from his works and from others artists that i like in the next days.

Hi Devil-Insinde,
welcome to the forum  You have some nice and expressive pieces. Very well done! I think you could work with more contrast on some of them. For example the second girl you have posted, I think she could take some deeper shadowand brighter reflections

Keep it up!
Thomas

the girl eating the world is my favourite so far
she seems awefully pale though but maybe the world didn’t taste that well
