great thread you have here!! I was reading it and felt the same way, In my school the anatomy training is underestimated; they focus primarly on spots and textures, very abstract art…""""…but the fantastic work done by artists here has left me speechless, most of the times which has been a reason of “”""""""" WORKING HARDER!! they’re great!
keep the good work Richa!
Thanks a lot Shyam!
Jancko thanks for dropping by and yea cgtalk keeps me motivated too for “working harder”
Herez an update :

C&C welcome
Hi
lovely update!
the feet seem a bit small and the lower legs could be a bit more fleshy, but i’m sure you knew that…
This will be a really cool model. looking forward to see more
Johan:)Thanks a ton for taking out time to visit my thread!..And yes that shows my impatience to finish this piece:DAlso thanks for finding interest in this model!..i’ll post an update soon:)
Hey, Richa…I hadn’t seen this 3D piece you were doing. Looks great…do agree on the lower legs…feet are much smaller than the original…but damn, girl…good 3D.
Cris
Hi Cris:)
Imagine 18 hours before from now(in India, last night) when i saw your reply i had already reworked on the piece and was going to post the corrected version of it…damn electricity went off…and whole night i slept with the grudge of not being able to post the update:D
Then whole day in office i was eagerly waiting to get back home and post the update here on my thread…and before something happens again i must quickly paste the link:scream:

Thanks for visiting my thread and taking time out for posting:)

Soo Glad to hear from u aftr long…My ill-health didnt allow me to post here much…'ll update soon:love:
Hmm…doing some color exercises really helped me warm up for this new work:)
Reference image is downloaded from Hong Ly’s Characterdesigns photoset:scream:
Software Photoshop CS2…Waxy crayon brush in dry media brushes:)

Come back for updates:deal:
I looooove those colour theory exercises - such a cool idea - actually it looks so cool to have one image painted in diffent parts like that :bounce:
the 3d model’s looking good too! I think you’re making the edges that define the musles too hard though! Try softening them, especially the ones on the chest! Sweet thread - keep going!
Intervain :  Great to see all the appreciation from u. I js posted that how much i found ur work with details very inspiring…esp. the work on blue dress and all the beautiful details painted in it!..Thanks so much!..
