I will post all my practice images here. I used to using painter, now I found photoshop is all very good painting tool. Anyway, I’m still finding the feeling, it’s not long since I started digital painting.
I love digital painting, it’s amazing!

Average time used: about 2-3 hours every pic. Most of them are not compose, just for study and practice, so I did it quickly. Really sketch~
My fovorit brush in painter is “new simple water”. In potoshop, I just use some simple settings~

here is my flickr album:http://www.flickr.com/photos/strawbarry/
Any critique is welcome!

These are images I did in painter:

Welcome to the forums! You did these in only 2 hours? That’s fantastic! What type of experience do you have? Do you go or are going to an art college?

#7

yeah lovely portraits
looking forward to see more! (no crits really)

Great paintings! Love the speedy style! I’d say two hours are really not much to get these type of works done in that time. Imagine what could be done in four hours!
Try changing the new simple water brush method to cover and the subcategory to flat cover, then lower the spacing. You’ll get an amazing brush. I use it most of the time. The default new simple water brush to me seems better used when painting on top of a pencil drawing.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

I’m just loving painting, and I am not in a art college. But I did learn some art from child. Once I dreamed of being a artist, but now Im studying in department of Urban Planning. Life just don’t go as you wish.

I like the loose style, so I did it really fast. Maybe the main problem of me is I don’t know how to dig in. When something takes me too long time ,I will lost interests in it :frowning:

And of course I didn’t do all the work in two hours, some takes 3 or even more. I see in digital painting, you can really do faster than in Traditional painting.

That’s really nice tips, I will try it !
