Dear Forumers,
I am looking to purchase some new kit and would love to increase my simulation speeds and workable sizes.
I thought that this was all down to CPU and CPU alone but upon investigation seemed to find loads of people attributing simulation speed to GPUs and mentioning things like PHYSx and FLEX.
So which is it? OR is it both CPUs and GPUs?
Are nVIDIA cards the best?
Is FLEX, or will it be, supported by Maya? Will it live up to the hype?
Should I buy better CPUs or GPUs or both?
