Similar zbrush spotlight feature?

In Zbrush, there is the spotlight feature where you can place an image over an object and project areas of the image onto your object. Does Photoshop have a similar function to project parts of a texture onto another?

Are you using the 3d tools in PS to try to do this?

The Clone Stamp tool might be the closest to what your looking for. Generally, projecting is a 3d painting technique.

Try Ps 3D tools, I think, you can project an image though a light !

Yea this might sound crazy but I didn’t even know PS had 3d tools until you guys just said it!
