simcloth.. how to export cloth object as fact?

#1

I used simcloth to ‘model’ a natural looking bed sheet, now I want to export the sheet with the deformations that simcloth performed… but when I export as fact I get the original undeformed object… any ideas?

thanks…

Hola Felix!

I selected the simcloth plugin and exported “with children” or something like that. That resulted in getting all simcloth children, and I got the cloth object deformed and undeformed. So I just deleted the undeformed object in Silo and all other objects and kept the deformed cloth.

I’ve been really busy lately… I’m still doing 3D, and lots of it lately, but I’m getting more work as a photographer too…

I need to upgrade my EIAS and Silo… :frowning: still witht the old versions, but upgrading is a bit expensive, at least EIAS. Silo is cheap, but I’ve been using EI modeler a lot lately! perhaps preparing for Tesla…
