So the screen handle I’ve been running with for awhile is LaurelSKY. I actually started as a member around the beginning of this year, and took a class in digital figure drawing as a kickstart to digital art. I really haven’t had anything to show at that point none of my pieces were really current; most of them used more traditional/light digital mediums (and I was quite prolific in character art/fan art prior to graduating college). Dunno if those would be as applicable in a CG portfolio; but I feel just as wierded out putting old work (like repurposing the blue ribbon fruit cake from three years ago) there as opposed to purely digital work.
My primary job is as a Graphic Designer. I’ve been fascinated by digital art for several years; only recently have I acquired the means, time and motivation and to start doing this kind of art. I’ve yet to create a personal brand and site, as well as work to show for this particular area. I’m very much a beginner and hope to learn alot in this talented community, and acquire the drive again to be as prolific as I once was.
