I hope it’s ok to post this here as it was all done in Lightwave, apart from the intro title which was done in Realflow.

nice work, its not easy pulling together a reel and posting it online so kudos for that…

may i crit slightly ?

firstly the lighting needs work… too many scenes have that flat lighting with
hotspots all over the place and it doesn’t look good, experiment with radiosity
and area lights, try to make the lighting subtle and yet dynamic especially in studio shots…

secondly the pace of the reel is slow… try to quicken it up, if that means shortening it
then do it…the most important part of the reel is the first 25 seconds, people have normally made up their mind by then…

Thanks for the comments, and crits.

I plan on re-doing the reel and making some big changes to it.

The lightings not great i know… but i was trying to get it all done and rendered within a week as i had some time off work… bit of a mistake now i see lol.

I think the main reason it’s slow paced is the music i chose (Radiohead)… probably not a great choice, so i’ll rethink that one.

Cheers… I thought it was ok too, but i don’t think that Radiohead really appeal to everyones taste.
