I can do that in this forum too!

Had to do some hefty photomerging to get it all in, but here’s my two cents…

I’m not going to post my system specs cause they’re pretty mediocre at the moment. I know it’s no command center like some of the stuff in this thread, but i’m happy enough with it all.
One thing I will note is that having a glass wall in your room is great for acting out animations. Just turn up the light and you’ve got yourself a wall sized mirror.
Hmm, time to post my pic… The apple screen on the left is sold now though. The 10.4" one is my tablet pc (using it for watching erm… stuff).

this is my battle ground mainly in 3d graphic and illustration
P4 3.0HT (603 64-MT)
4 GB memory
320 GB hard disk
19 sony crt monitor ( 2 years now but still is very good condition)

Can anyone tell me how you get the taskbar to extend across to the second monitor? I just got my second screen yesterday and can’t seem to figure it out ^.-
I’ll snap a pic once I get some help putting the hutch on my desk…can’t see my computers without all the geeky toys too!
I’m not using the windows taskbar at all but if you want to extend it, check out UltraMon.
Don’t graphic drivers come with these capabilities anyway? Especially seeing as most modern cards are issued with dual outputs.
A program called “ultramon” does it. I dont think its very expensive at all. I got it ages ago.

To bad you can’t get a Boxx Workstation w/ OS X running on it. I’d buy that in a heartbeat. Here’s to wishful thinking
Thanks for the help…I think I need to graduate soon, so I can get to the point where $40 sounds “not that expensive.”
I use my two monitors as one Desktop, not as two. So i have an resolution of 25601024, and not two 12801024. My taskbar is across the second monitor, for less :D. A Proplem is, that the windows open on both monitors at full screen mode, but i can resize them. And this is the only way the Maya rightklick works on the second monitor too…
This is an function of my ATI card, btw.
thats an amazing setup, the second image down on the right hand side, that chair. We have those at work and they are $800 a pop.
Crazy setup
