should I go for 1050ti for composting software like Fusion or Nuke?

I want to upgrade my pc for composting job.Now I am planing to swtich over from AE to fusion or nuke. Plz do suggest me which GPU i should go for? I have a plan to buy 1050ti 4gb nvidia graphics. My pc configuration is i5 6400 processor, 16gb ram (extended to 32 gb), 256gb ssd and 2tb hdd. I want to do composting work in fusion or nuke but i cant figure out which GPU I should go for. I have $500 budget for gpu. Is it possible to upgrade within this budget of gpu or should I dorpe my idea to using fusion or nuke…*

For $500 you can get some i7 non-K + GTX 1060 6GB, (maybe add some +100$ more), do not know the prices in your area.
There is a GTX 1060 with 6GBs of RAM which should be your goal.

Thnks for this valuable information. I can’t upgrade in i7 right now. I can upgrade ram upto 32 gb. Later goal is 64gb. Gtx 1060 is $500 here in india. Thanks for your suggestion.*

The 1050Ti is a nice card, but is only around $120 here in the US. Spending four times that much on a 1060 is a really bad deal, if you ask me.

Try to find a 1050Ti at a reasonable price, or a friend in the US that will purchase and ship you one? Shipping to India can’t cost $380, so I think you’d save some money doing it that way?

Thnks for the suggestion. I don’t know anyone from us or I don’t have any friend in us. So I have to purchase from India with Indian price.

As of now i would recommend buying a used one from OLX, due to GST and mining cards are available at very high price in India. You can find GTX 1050ti for 9000 rupees in OLX.
