archive, can i send it to you by e-mail, or may be you or somebody here have a ftp?
just i think if it will e-mail, then filesize increase up to ~21megs, and with my dial-up it will too long, and with ftp it will much easy :slight_smile:

Well, now Scotsman is concluded. Tell me if it is necessary to do more some alteration. Please Mike, order me the procedure so that I can send the files. Will he be worked in Max, is it necessary to convert for .Obj?

Everyone: Today we switch our emphasis from modeling to rigging and animation. It is important for modelers to give me an estimate of when you expect to post your model. I’m talking with animators via e-mail and I don’t want to make assignments for models that haven’t arrived yet.

Astro-Sanchez and Liseelulu: I’m talking with Lightwave animators now. I might find someone who will animate the Cellphone sequence in LW. That would allow Liseelulu’s rigging to be used directly.

Scudz Almighty: I have someone who wants to animate your model. When will you be posting?

Kenio3D: The posting procedure is in post #311 on page 21 of this thread. Yes, you should also make a low poly OBJ file as well as the .MAX file. So far one animator has mentioned your model but he is more comfortable with Maya than Max.

EDIT: Astro-Sanchez, Dave Lewis and Liseelulu: I just heard from a Lightwave rigger with limited time but willing to work on a model. Please send me an accurate estimate of your model posting so we don’t keep him waiting too long.

first off, sorry everyone, i’m getting married this weekend and i just haven’t had time to finish off the Col. i should be able to have him up early to mid next week. i still have some head stuff to finish off.

Mike- sorry I know I told you that I would be able to hand the rigging into you by today but I can’t. Something’s come up. Can I give it to you by saturday. (I got into an accident I have to get treatment tomorrow.) I’ve rigged the body so far but I have to do the face.

Hey everyone!

Give yourselves a pat on the back, because I’m seeing some good work happening here :applause:

Here’s a small update just to show you guys that I’m alive! I don’t like the color of the metal on the body, but I will work on it some more tomorrow to see if I can get it right. I made sure that I could change it easily, because I figured I’d second-guess myself somewhere along the line :smiley: Well, won’t keep you long, here it is:

Managing this Project is like living two lives. What can I say. You are all family now. We have had a death, a birth, sickness, an accident and now a marriage. The good news is your excellent modeling is attracting attention. We should have a few more animators log in soon to keep Matt company. As soon as your model is posted we should be able to send it to animation. If you know you will be late it is important to send me a good estimate of when you will finish. That way I can toggle animation on and off in an orderly way.

AgentPrometheus: I know you only signed on for modeling but do you want to try the animation? If you do, let me know and I will send you the exposure sheet. It’s a total of 6 seconds of run time.

mosquito718: Saturday will be fine. I will tell your animator the model is delayed. What happened to you? Any broken bones? What does the other guy look like?

Scudz Almighty: Congratulations! Naturally we all think you have paired up with a fellow cg’er. We wish you all the happiness your hearts can hold.

Thank you guys for the feedback, Mike thank you for inviting me to participate in that incredible project. I was very happy in participating… I will always be here accompanying the course of the project, I am wanting a lot to see the Scotsman with life… hehehe… Congratulations the all of the members in the project, I could not say a lot in the other works, but I appreciate them even so.

hey all, just stopping by to say hello. i’ll be one of the character animators for this collaboration. so far, everything seems to coming along well. i look forward to being a part of this project.

i believe that i’m going to be animating the opening sequence (preface) with George Shaw. if conditions permit, i’d also like animate some later shots. i have to admit that col. pickering looks like he’d be a blast to animate.

either way, kudos folks.
