Hello all. Some exciting news. Steve Ogden of Animwatch/Myst has agreed to provide forum services to the FreeFall project. :buttrock: Since I have received no response about cgtalk providing subforum areas for this project much of the project will move there to keep things organized.
I’d like to keep interacting here as well. Using this thread to update on the progress to the community and keep the technical discussion going, as it could require some focused messiah user discussion. But when the film starts going, I think file sharing and the like should occur there in the various sections. I don’t see a single thread being very good for organizing the project, and we can add various categories as needed there. We also have a talented community at animwatch that knows what makes a short good, as well as some fantastic artists that could contribute to the film. Animwatch has been featured all over the place and this will provide some great exposure to the film as it progresses. So go join the animwatch forum, start posting and introduce yourself to the great people there.
There are a few other exciting things I have in store for participants of the project, so join up if you haven’t and lets get this thing finished!
In other news the storyboard is rounding out and bardakos has told me he has completed another 7 pages. The storyboard when completed will be posted at the animwatch forums and I’ll update here when that is done. Despite moving to animwatch for the project, this is still a messiah community project, as it should be.
