Hey Everyone, I’ve just completed a degree in animation, and this is my final year film. It’s taken about 5 months to complete- including Pre-Production

From memory… the slowmo parts rocked and I very much like the motion-haze effect you have going on with the character, visually it works very well.

Very nice work man. And congrats on finshing the film. It’s takes alot of patience and time to see it through to the very end. Very well done my friend. As for the piece i like alot :). Sweet little dance anim’s you have there. NOW GET THAT REEL OFF TO THE BIG BOYS MAN.

I was lucky enough to see this on the big screen how it should be! This is one tasty film. Damn u and ur super cool slo mo’s! The face closeup is astounding when you see it moving. You gotta love those MJ moves too.

Hey man thats some slick stuff, dont know how you came up with that idea for a short film but its great. The monkeys got a hell of a lot of attitude for sure, you really pulled that off well.
Send that boy out quick and go out dancing in the mean time :slight_smile:

Wow. Now that is what I call “well educated monkey” :slight_smile:

I like it. Especially the the moves. There are some intersects with floor etc but that little things is not important. You’ve done a very good job as a character animator my friend. Also like the Dept of Field effect. :slight_smile:

I’m looking for your future works.

I’ve seen this for a few times now and I still find the animation incredible.

I think the set and all is pretty good, but for me, the animation is what really stands out! I work with motion capture quite often and I must say that there are moves there in that dancing that I would never think of animating manually! :applause:

The short video is pretty good in the overall, but the animation is very, very good.

Hey King_Bruce, I like the start as well mate, the camera rolling down is one of my fav’s

Mark, the story had changed many times during production, maybe thats why its a bit ‘odd’ I hope in a good way:thumbsup:

I forget to say that I also like the way you use the camera. It couldn’t be better than this for a dance video. Very cool. Very dynamic. I like it.

You also got a little John Woo inside my friend. :slight_smile:

Ngarte, I’m very happy to have it finished, thanks, but this is not my reel, i have cut the film up and put in some other works to make my reel which i will be sending off.

I found this finally. those 2 images are very impressive, I have seen one of them before i believe, and have also seen some of the test animations. But I cannot download any of the files here, really like to see it :cry:

I finally downloaded it (very slow speed 6-10kbps??)) Film is pritty amazing, Lighting, animation, just great- Someone should put it at that first page where they show the best stuff, but you should get faster server.
