Sharpened image in Portfolio-Preview

Maybe you’ve also noticed this. During the uplift contest here on CGS our downsized “previews” were automaticaly(?) sharpened. Which is a good thing since the images were in most of the cases bigger and the sharpening filter was helpfull.

When I put my entry into my portfolio it struck me that the image in the portfolio looks blurry, “muddy” (I’m not talking about the thumbnail but the “preview” (for lack of a better definition) - would it not be a good thing if it would be possible to sharpen these? (automaticaly or to have the choice - preferably the latter).

What do you think?

I guess this part of CGS is rather dead. :hmm: Well I’ve decided to solve the problem by posting the image in the same size it is shown in the portfolio.

I’m a new member, and the member-only area is sadly lacking in admin support and posts.

Not sure how to fix it.

Well - yes, I know maybe we all should pay a visit there from time to time. I did once - since I remembered how pleasant it was to be welcomed.

But in general don’t take it too seriously - this is a great community it just takes a little time.
