I don’t know if there is one already or not, but heres a quick icon for a shelf I find useful for slapping my checkered grid to faces for texturing and UV layout. Just make a mel command to assign your checks (if you use them) to your selection.
I made these when I was porting my max workflow over to Maya, and still needed to work through the interface visually.
box, cylinder, sphere, plane, edge loop, edge ring, connect VEF, weld options, fill hole, hard/smooth edge, mirror, snap to grid, snap to point, create joint, create IK handle, insert joint, remove joint, connect joints, disconnect joints, mirror joint, smooth bind, rigid bind, delete history, actorX, hotkey editor
nice collections,
ill post my paint fx shelves maybe tomorrow or on monday if anyone’s interested.

if you want to find out where to find things like Wireframe on Shaded and Xray.
Got to your Script Editor and choose Echo All Commands and then select the X-ray or whatever and the command will appear.
heres one I use for modeling (polys). It’s got some plugin buttons, but all the commands contain comments on where to get them.
Can someone post a good shelf for NURBs modeling. I’m in my nurbs class in school and could really use a good shelf with all the best tools. :wavey:

This is going to sound dumb, but what are shelves?
Ahem…
Shelves are hard surfaces usually mounted on a wall via brackets for use in setting items apon for appearance or usage.
I use many shelves in my basement for collecting models, books and coins.
No really, you probably already know what Maya shelves are by now- so sarcasim on my part is purely innocent typing practice.
Now I shall retire my forum time waisting acts, and get back to work.
